From what I saw, the site was still on civil basics engineering such as piling and site leveling. Nothing yet installed, but perhaps the prefabrication of pipings, mechanical instruments, is ongoing somewhere else. I would rate the civil aspects has reached third quarter final of their masterplan.

I thought the Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal will be in operation this year.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately no, it is not. I saw those construction company recruiting adv for structural and piping engineer in Feb 2011.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess they are in the Site preparation Stage right now. Do you have any idea on how many Storage Tanks are going to be built in that Terminal?
ReplyDeleteNo idea as well. As I quote, " The SOGT will be able to store 300,000 barrels of crude oil a day. Sabah’s oil production averages 200,000 bpd." link --> http://insightsabah.gov.my/article/read/374
